HSK 6 — Vocabulary, Translation and Exam Prep

HSK 6 is the most advanced level of the Chinese proficiency exam, aligned with the CEFR C2 standard. It's recognized for professional and academic language proficiency.
In the new HSK 3.0 format, HSK 6 requires knowledge of approximately 5,456 words, which is 1,140 more than HSK 5. The old HSK 2.0 required around 5,000 words. Mastery of this level allows fluent comprehension of written text and confident oral and written expression.
Fun fact: Students who pass HSK 6 often report being able to comfortably read news articles, official documents, and understand films without subtitles.
On our site, you'll find a comprehensive HSK 6 word list with translations, pinyin, and audio, plus example sentences.
