Make printable Hanzi flashcards from your own vocabulary

Enter one Chinese word or expression per line. Each line becomes a separate card and may contain from one to three Chinese characters, which keeps short words together instead of splitting them into unrelated Hanzi. You can create up to 18 cards in one generation.

Pinyin is prepared for every character and remains editable before the PDF is generated. When an exact dictionary match is available, the translation is added as a starting point; you can shorten it, replace it or write the wording used in your course.

Customize the front and back of every Chinese flashcard

Use a large Hanzi-only front for recognition practice or show pinyin above the characters. Choose the Chinese font, character color, pinyin color and writing grid that best fits your learners. Grid type and color can be adjusted for a clean classroom handout or more structured character practice.

For two-sided cards, the back can show Hanzi, pinyin and an editable translation. The main content area can stay empty, display an image from a direct URL or show stroke order when data is available. Generate an A4 PDF designed for printing and cutting

Every finished card measures 125 by 64 mm and has softly rounded corners. The standard and duplex layouts place six cards on each landscape A4 sheet, while the fold layout places three paired front-and-back cards. Shared edges and aligned cutting marks reduce unnecessary cuts and help you keep every row straight.

Choose a single-sided sheet, a fold layout with paired fronts and backs, or duplex printing. In duplex mode, the back pages are positioned for short-edge flipping so the matching sides align after printing. A preview appears on the page before you download the PDF.
