A 108-page PDF Chinese character writing workbook for children learning HSK 1. It covers 300 words from the new HSK 3.0 standard, with pinyin, Russian translations, stroke order, a QR code, and two rows of 10 large 米字格 writing cells for every word.
Description
Child-friendly HSK 1 character writing practice
This Russian-language workbook is designed for children who are beginning to learn Chinese and work with HSK 1 vocabulary. It includes 300 words from the new HSK 3.0 standard, with pinyin, Russian translations, and visual stroke-order guidance.
The main difference between this children’s edition and the standard Hanziway workbook is the larger 米字格 grid. The standard edition has 15 smaller cells in each row, while the children’s edition has 10 larger cells per row. Every word is given two rows, making it easier for a child to see character proportions and practise without rushing.
What the workbook includes
- 108 A4 pages in a digital PDF file.
- 300 HSK 1 words from the new HSK 3.0 standard.
- 100 writing-practice pages with three words per page.
- Pinyin and a Russian translation for every word.
- Visual stroke order for every Chinese character.
- Two rows of 10 large 米字格 cells for every word.
- A separate QR code for every word.
- Name and date fields on every practice page.
- A self-assessment section on every practice page.
- A certificate of workbook completion.
How each practice section works
Every section begins with the word displayed in a large size. Pinyin, a short Russian translation, a QR code, and the stroke order appear beside it.
Below are two rows of large 米字格 cells. The child can first examine the model, copy it, and then write the word independently in the remaining cells. The 米字格 grid provides visual reference lines for positioning the parts of each character inside the square.
Each page contains three words, creating a clear amount of material for a short home activity, a lesson, or a written assignment.
What is available through the QR code
The QR code beside every word opens its corresponding page on Hanziway. Learners can check pronunciation and meaning, view stroke order and the writing animation, study usage examples, and access the available exercises.
The QR code complements handwriting practice: a child can listen to the word and examine how it is written before beginning work in the workbook.
Who the workbook is for
Children beginning to learn Chinese
Large writing cells and a consistent page structure keep the focus on character writing. Pinyin and Russian translations provide a quick reminder of each word’s pronunciation and meaning.
Parents
The workbook can be used for regular practice at home. The prepared sequence of activities requires no additional page layout, while the self-assessment section lets the child record the result of each session.
Teachers
Individual pages can be used during lessons or assigned as homework. Three words per page provide a clear amount of writing practice, and the QR codes connect the printed material with Hanziway’s digital resources.
