YCT 3 — Word List and Characters

YCT 3 is the third level of the Youth Chinese Test. It is designed for students who already have a basic knowledge of Chinese and want to move to the next stage.
The vocabulary of YCT 3 expands to about 300 words. Students learn to talk about hobbies, future plans, school events, and handle everyday conversations. This level also helps children understand Chinese culture more deeply.
Fun fact: Starting from YCT 3, many schools in China use the test as part of their curriculum for international students, helping them adapt to the language environment faster.
