YCT 4 — Word List and Characters

YCT 4 is the fourth and highest level of the Youth Chinese Test. It is designed for students who already have solid Chinese skills and can use the language confidently in study and daily life.
The YCT 4 vocabulary reaches about 600 words. Students are able to read short articles, engage in extended conversations, and understand more complex topics. The exam tests not only vocabulary knowledge but also the ability to apply it in real communication.
Fun fact: The YCT 4 certificate is recognized by many schools in China and abroad as proof of sufficient language ability for studying in international Chinese classes.
